Breakfast: November 14, 2008
Breakfast this morning was a repeat of breakfast yesterday.
I love the way tortillas puff up when you cook them. That cast iron skillet is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I think I bought it my sophomore year of college, at a kitchen supply store in San Luis that no longer exists, specifically for tortillas, and that is about all I use it for, but I probably use it a dozen times a week. Best $14.00 ever spent.
Sean and I did discuss what to have for dinner tonight, and the consensus was: not Mexican food. That’s about as far as we got.
Are we the only ones who talk about future meals of the day while consuming their first meal of the day? I know I picked up that habit from my parents, but surely others do it too.
